Nuremberg improved to eighth place in the table and at least consolidated the position in the ranks that entitle them to participate in the pre-play-offs. Only the first six qualify directly for the championship round.
The matchday will continue on Friday with three games. Among other things, the ERC Ingolstadt receives the Bremerhaven Fischtown Pinguins. Three games had to be canceled after the teams of the Wolfsburg Grizzlys, the EHC Munich and the Iserlohn Roosters had to be quarantined due to corona outbreaks.
