The German Ice Hockey League (DEL) looks back on its beginnings with a series of special games. On November 5th (4:30 p.m./MagentaSport), two DEL founding members, the Augsburger Panthers and the Nuremberg Ice Tigers, will meet in the first of four so-called “retro games”. The “Retro Tour” takes place to mark the league’s 30th anniversary.
In the first game, both Augsburg and Nuremberg will play in the original jerseys from back then. The game will be accompanied by Fritz von Thurn und Taxis (73), who also commented on the first DEL game in history in September 1994.
In the other games of the “Retro Tour” Nuremberg and Augsburg will meet again (December 28th). Also there: Eisbären Berlin against Augsburg on February 16, 2024 and Adler Mannheim against Nuremberg on February 23, 2024.
