After a forced break of more than 30 days, the Iserlohn Roosters achieved an away win on their comeback in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL). The Sauerland team, who played for the first time in the new year, won 2-1 (1-1, 1-0, 0-0) when new coach Kurt Kleinendorst made his debut with the Augsburg Panthers.

Iserlohn had had to take a break since the game at Red Bull Munich on December 30 (4: 3 nP) due to the numerous corona cases in the league. Games have been canceled again and again. Kleinendorst signed on January 11 and had to wait a long time for his first assignment behind the gang.

Canadians Luke Adam (10th) and Hubert Labrie (37th) scored for the Roosters. Jesse Graham (13th) managed to equalize for Augsburg in the meantime.
