The ERC Ingolstadt from the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) has a new head coach: Canadian Mark French signed a one-year contract with Oberbayern.
French had most recently worked as an assistant coach at the Russian club Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
The 51-year-old will succeed Doug Shedden, whose contract with the ERC was not renewed.
