Mannheim wins chase duel against Munich

In the duel between the two immediate pursuers, the trends of the past weeks continued. The Adler Mannheim also clearly won 5: 1 (1: 0, 2: 1, 2: 0) against Red Bull Munich and thus extended their lead over the three-time champions.

Markus Eisenschmid put the Adler in the lead after just 19 seconds, the national players Denis Reul (24th) and Tim Wohlgemuth (36th) as well as Jordan Szwarz (46th) and Mark Katic (60th) scored the other goals. Frederik Tiffels had meanwhile equalized (22nd). For Munich it was the fifth bankruptcy from the last six games, while the Mannheimers have now won four times in a row.

After 31 games, the Berliners continue to lead the table with an average of 2.032 points ahead of the Adlers and Munich.
