The Augsburg Panthers from the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) have reacted to their personal emergency and signed the Slovenian international Blaz Gregorc. The 32-year-old comes from Black Wings Linz and has signed a contract until the end of the season.
In 48 main round games in the Austrian league, Gregorc scored three goals and twelve assists for Linz. He represented his home country at the 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics.
Due to a corona outbreak, the Panthers had to cancel three games in a row. Last Wednesday, the club reported eight new cases, at that time only four field players were available.
