DEL, 6th matchday: polar bears continue to struggle, Ingolstadt new leader

The Eisbären Berlin are still looking for form in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL). On Friday evening (09/30/22) the German champions lost against the Adler Mannheim 2:4 (0:1, 1:1, 1:2) and thus conceded the fourth defeat in the fifth game of the season. The new leader is ERC Ingolstadt, who won the derby against the Straubing Tigers 5:2 (2:2, 2:0, 1:0).

In front of 10,986 spectators in the arena at Ostbahnhof, Mannheim were the more dangerous team at the beginning. Borna Rendulić scored in the first power play for the guests.
