KORFBAL – DOS’46 was unable to give leaving coach Herman van Gunst a parting gift in the last game of the field competition against Fortuna. The Nijeveners lost 17-22 on Saturday evening.
At halftime, DOS’46 already faced a considerable deficit at 6-12. In the second half, the home team could not turn the tide and the difference remained.
After a difficult indoor competition, the field competition in the honorary division has also come to an end for DOS’46 after yesterday. With that, the job of interim trainer Herman van Gunst is also over. The same applies to assistant coach Rick Wessel, who becomes head coach at ZKC’19, and player Pascal Frieswijk who makes the switch to SCO.
Next year DOS’46 wants to set up a stable team again with Henk Jan Mulder as head coach and Friso Boode as assistant coach.
