Enschede – The aviation world is mourning. Instructor and former great gun Auke Sieswerda (63) and the talented student pilot Thijs Ronda (24) died in a mysterious accident last Tuesday, when the training plane in which both were flying crashed. “It is hard to imagine that such a box could go wrong. Auke was a terribly good flyer. And then that young fellow, who had yet to start. It’s all so sad…”
