Felix Münnich takes over the management for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Deckers Brands.
Münnich is responsible for the tasks of Senior Vice President and General Manager EMEA with the American shoe and clothing provider, the manager announced on Tuesday at the LinkedIn career network. Before he took on this role in the parent company of brands such as Hoka and UGG, he was active for the Swiss outdoor equipment Mammut.
“This is one of the rare occasions to help shape the future of some of the most dynamic brands in our industry – Hoka and Ugg -, and this with teams full of energy, ambition, creativity and cooperation spirit,” says Münnich. “I am very grateful for the trust placed in me and look forward to working with such talented college: inside in EMEA and all over the world.”
New European boss comes from Mammut
At Mammut he worked as a Chief Commercial Officer since the end of 2022, but the company left “for personal reasons” in May, said Mammut. For him, Jérémie Blondel took over the management of the commercial activities and trading partnerships.
Before Münnich’s time at Mammut, he was active at the American sporting goods manufacturer Nike. There he worked in various positions for twelve years, most recently as Vice President and General Manager Inline Stores for EMEA in Amsterdam. For his new position, he is now returning from Zurich to the Dutch capital.
