The deceased person who was found on Sunday afternoon in a home on Dr. Visserstraat in Zandvoort, turns out to be the 60-year-old resident of the building. According to the police, it is a natural death.
Local residents called the police because they had not seen the resident for some time and were concerned. When the police entered the building, a gas bottle was found, among other things. The officers then left the house for their own safety and called the fire brigade.
In addition to the body of the resident, a cannabis farm was also found in the building by the fire brigade. That weed farm will be dismantled, the plants and equipment present will be destroyed.
