A deceased person was found this afternoon in the Noord-Willemskanaal near Tynaarlo. The police report this.
Passers -by saw a body lying in the water at the height of the sauna near Vries, and called in the emergency services.
It is not yet clear who it is and how the person ended up in the water. The area is closed. Agents are investigating the identity and circumstances.
