Liam van der Schaaf was missing in the final. He still had too much trouble with his hamstring that he sprained two weeks ago in Geneva. The Amsterdammer expects to be back in action next week.

Visser Dutch champion

Nadine Visser has won the national title in the 100 meter hurdles. The 27-year-old hurdler from Hoogkarspel won in the final in 12.77. “I ran a second good race today and that is nice and gives confidence towards the World Cup”, Visser said afterwards.

In the series Visser (12.84) and Maayke Tjin A-Lim (13.09) already ran the fastest times. Zoë Sedney was a tenth slower than Tjin A-Lim. The gap with the rest of the field was more than half a second. However, Tjin A-Lim did not start in the final at the Dutch Athletics Championships.
