Debit card stolen after man is chased by group of men

In Tilburg, a man was robbed of his debit card while on his way home. He was approached on Piusstraat by a group of eight men on bicycles and scooters. A grim atmosphere soon develops. The robbery already happened in August, but the police are only now making it public and showing images in Bureau Brabant.

The man runs off and initially manages to keep his pursuers behind him. However, on the Stuivesantplein he falls off his bicycle and the group overtakes him.

While he is lying on the floor, one of those men manages to take his wallet with debit card from his pocket. It will be used later at a gas station. Images of this will be shown in Bureau Brabant on Monday evening.

After the theft in Tilburg, the perpetrators fled in the direction of the Piushaven. The victim remembers a group of Dutch boys, some of whom were slightly tinted.

It is unclear whether the man who drinks beer at the gas station was also involved in the violence against the victim. The pinner is a man with long dark hair, in rasta style.
