Death toll of forest fires rises to 11 – more than 1,000 inmates help extinguish fires

At least eleven people have died so far in the wildfires in the Los Angeles region. Of all the fires, only two are currently “largely under control”, the fire brigade says. Since Friday afternoon (local time), a new fire has been raging in the north of the city, the Archer fire. LA authorities have now declared a health emergency.
