A man died in an industrial accident at FrieslandCampina on the Verlaatsterweg in Gerkesklooster on Thursday afternoon.
The man became trapped between a wall and a vehicle during work. Employees tried to free him but were unsuccessful. It is still unknown how the accident could happen, the FrieslandCampina press officer said. The company is investigating the cause. Aftercare is also provided to employees. “This is terrible for family and friends. Our thoughts go out to the relatives.”
