A man died on Friday evening around ten o’clock in an accident on the A67 near Eersel. The car he was in crashed into the guardrail in the middle of the road. The man was thrown from the car and hit by three cars driving on the highway. He died instantly.
Three other occupants of the car with a Belgian license plate were slightly injured. The accident happened in the direction of the Belgian border to Eindhoven. It is still unclear whether the car was driven by the man who died.
The drivers of the cars that hit the victim were taken to the police station in Eersel for victim assistance.
