A deceased woman was found in Duivendrecht last night. The police confirm this to AT5. The area is spacious and agents are investigating. The Amsterdamse Holterbergweg is closed. Traffic is diverted.
It is still unclear what exactly happened.
Emergency services, including fire brigade, police and ambulance, arrived around 4 a.m. on a report of a person on the water.
On the Groenpad, near the Arena and Ziggo Dome, they found the deceased woman. It is unclear whether she was also found in the water. After the find, a police helicopter flew over the area for about half an hour.
Forensic investigation is available to secure traces.
