A legend of Real Madrid and Spanish (and world) football, the most successful player in the history of the blancos: Francisco ‘Paco’ Gento, left winger and historic captain of the Spaniards, passed away at 88.
Real announced it on its social networks and on the official website. Gento was honorary president of Madrid, as well as being the only one in the history of the game to have won 6 European Cups, all with the same shirt, which he wore from 1953 to 1971.
