A man was killed in a serious traffic accident in Sint Pancras last night. Several other people were injured. A motorist has been arrested.
The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. on the Hill. The man who died – a 45-year-old man from the municipality of Dijk en Waard – was on a bicycle and was hit by a car.
Several other road users were injured. The nature of their injuries is unknown.
Motorist arrested
The police have arrested a motorist. It concerns a 31-year-old man from Heiloo. He is detained for further investigation.
Police are still looking for witnesses to the accident. People with dashcam images are also asked to share this.
