A motorist was killed in an accident on the AG Wildervanckweg (N366) between Stadskanaal and Musselkanaal on Friday evening.
The police report that assistance was no longer of any help. The driver died at the scene of the accident. Another motorist was seriously injured.
Police reported earlier in the evening that “at least two vehicles” were involved in the accident. It is still unclear from which direction(s) the vehicles came.
The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident, which happened near Vledderveen around 6:55 p.m. One of the vehicles ended up in the ditch along the road. As far as we know, no other people were in the vehicles.
