Day tourists find their way to the coast: NMBS is installing extra trains

Due to the warm weather, NMBS is now putting in eight extra Coastal Express trains, four there and four back. Travelers can go from all over the country to Blankenberge, De Panne, Knokke and Ostend. In the latter, it is already an influx of day trippers this morning.

However, it will also be very warm by the sea today. The last few days it was more pleasant there due to a sea breeze, but that is not present today.

At the same time, the NMBS also announced that it would cancel 34 P trains today. These are trains that only run during peak hours. This mainly concerns older models. The breakdown teams have also been reinforced.
