Frankfurt (Reuters) – According to calculations by banks and brokerage houses, the Dax will start again on Monday at the start of the new stock exchange week.
Fears of recession shook the stock markets on Friday and caused the Dax to fall by around two percent to 12,284.19 points.
Against this background, stockbrokers are eagerly awaiting the Ifo index, which reflects the mood in the German executive floors. Analysts expect a drop to 87 points from 88.5 points. In August, the barometer, which is closely monitored on the financial markets, fell for the third month in a row.
