DAX approaches 16000 again, Unilever offer on GlaxoSmithKline, EDF and nuclear energy in sight

The DAX can start the new week with a bang and take a look at the high on Friday. However, the opening was followed by a decline, which will now be revised again towards midday. Does that mean that 16,000 is back on the investor list?

We talk about this in detail with our dealer Stephan and on the US holiday we look at the news that is dominating European trade.

The first thing to be mentioned here is the rejection of Unilever’s offer to GlaxoSmithKline. It’s about a multi-billion takeover of a business field, the price of which was dubbed as insufficient. Unilever started the week correspondingly weak today. Glaxo, on the other hand, marks a new annual high in the share price.

Another story is being discussed in the market – the energy policy in France. Can EDF declare nuclear energy green energy? Our dealer provides insights and points to the price weakness of the energy provider, which is in the hands of the state.

Due to the US holiday there are no further dates on the market today.

Come into the new trading day well informed with TRADERS media GmbH and the LS Exchange. We’ll talk to Daniel Saurenz about the market tomorrow.
