Dawid Tomaszweski cancels show at Berlin Fashion Week

The Polish-born designer Dawid Tomaszewski has canceled his fashion show next Wednesday in Berlin.

He and his team decided to launch the collection “quietly” given the war in Ukraine. Instead of working on the show, they want to spend their time helping out this season.

“Dawid Tomaszweski’s team stands united in the face of these impossible realities and has decided to offer assistance to humanitarian organizations in Ukraine and Poland,” the label said on Friday.

Individual styles from the FW2022/2023 collection will be shown in the Berliner Salon in the power station. Under the title Neoteric Novelty, Tomaszweski is presenting tried-and-tested cuts in high-contrast, bold colors for the coming autumn.
