Davide Ghiotto breaks the world record 10,000 meters at the Calgary World Cup

Skater Davide Ghiotto has broken the world record for the 10,000 meters at the World Cup competitions in Calgary, Canada. The 31-year-old Italian clocked 12.25.69 on the highland track, more than five seconds below Nils van der Poel’s 12.30.74. The Swede set that time during his golden Olympic race at the Beijing Winter Games in 2022.
