“Aladdin Sane”: More about the album

The album is the follow-up to 1972’s THE RISE AND FALL OF ZIGGY STARDUST AND THE SPIDERS FROM MARS and was released in April 1973. The work was produced and written during Bowie’s post-Ziggy years while traveling in the United States.

2022 became Bowie’s fourth Studio album HUNKY DORY released as a deluxe reissue containing unreleased demos, live recordings and other rarities from the period.
