Nodon’t call them (just) “Posh and Becks”. From today, I am Sir David Beckham and Lady Victoria. The absolute icon of English football and global style has received the highest honour, and not from just any authority. It was King Charles III himselfin the solemn setting of Windsor Castle, to give him the coveted title. A moment that marks a new chapter for the couple, who once again demonstrated that to be the true monarchy of style. An event that celebrates sport and charity, but which was also an incredible (and highly anticipated) fashion catwalk.
Sir David Beckham: the honor from King Charles
The nomination, already in the air for some time (he was a candidate for knighthood already in 2011), arrived on a special day: on the occasion of King Charles III’s birthday. The sovereign has awarded Beckham the honor for “services to sport and charity”. To attend the solemn ceremony, in addition to the parents of the former footballer, there was obviously her, his wife Victoria, who from today officially acquires the title of Lady Victoria.

Visibly moved, Sir David commented on this incredible achievement to the British media. “I couldn’t be more proud”he began. Despite his usual composure, he made no secret that the new title will require some practice: «It will take some time to get used to being called that, but it is a great honor». An honor that led him to reflect on his origins: «I grew up in a very humble contextin the East End of London, dreaming of becoming a professional footballer… And now I find myself here, at Windsor Castle… receiving a knighthood… It couldn’t have gone any better.”.
Lady Victoria: the collectible black dress
Inevitably, all eyes were on her. Lady Victoria chose, as expected, to wear one of her creations. For the occasion he showed off a very elegant black dress from her autumn-winter 2025 collection. A sophisticated one midi dress with tulip sleeves and a gathered waist that defines the silhouette. The V-neck on the back and the flared hem give a feminine touch to an otherwise austere line. To complete the look, impeccable accessories: a hat with veil and a mini crocodile bag.
The former Spice Girl, fresh from the success of the fashion show in Paris for spring-summer 2026 and the release of the Netflix miniseries, she also signed the dress worn by her husband. For Sir David, he designed an impeccable smoky gray tailcoat with white shirt, a look that, according to those present, even received compliments from the sovereign.
