The superclimate plant is a variant of Miscanthus, or elephant grass. The crop, a type of ancient grass, already absorbs a huge amount of CO . by nature₂, but through years of research and breeding, it is now a superhero among plants. The variant of the Boskoop De Jong Plant BV, Miscanthus ECO2Grass, takes six times as much CO₂ like a tree, it does away with nitrogen and particulate matter and also knows what to do with polluted water, poor soil and extreme drought.
