Roberto D’Aversa comments on Empoli’s defeat against Atalanta: here are his words, reported by tuttoatalanta.com. “I think the performance was very positive, but unfortunately we go home with zero points. We showed character and quality, especially in some phases of the game. It’s clear that against a team like Atalanta, who play man for man, you have to be good at exploiting every opportunity. The throw-in that led to the first goal was an intelligent play and a bit clever on the part of my boys. Having said that, we must learn to be even more mischievous and concrete, especially in such delicate matches.”
ATALANTA – “Compared to the big teams, I think we have shown that we can stand up to anyone, even if with Atalanta we saw the difference in experience and concreteness. The only match I blame my boys was the one against Milan, where we never really got into the match. We fought against Inter and Juventus, just like today.
