The World Darts Championship at Lakeside has been revived by the WDF this year, after the World Championship was hosted by the BDO between 1986 and 2020. The Englishman Martin Adams, three-time world champion at the BDO, was already eliminated in the first round this year. Other well-known participants include Scotsman Cameron Menzies (Fallon Sherrock’s boyfriend) and Welshman Wayne Warren, the last BDO World Champion in 2020.
