The Belgian guitarist Dany Lademacher died at the age of 75. That confirms the management of singer Bart Peeters, who worked with Lademacher for years, on the Flemish broadcaster VRT.

Lademacher became known in the late 70s as a member of Wild Romance, the band of Herman Brood in which he played for years. He also contributed to dozens of songs from Brood, such as Saturday Night and Never Be Clever. He was also involved in the feature film Wild romanceabout the life of bread.

A few years after the fall of Wild Romance, he joined The Radios, the Belgian band that gained world fame with hiting lessons as She Goes Nana and Teardrops. The pop group with Bart Peeters and the Mosuse brothers toured around the world in the 1990s and sold hundreds of thousands of records.

According to the VRT, Lademacher has been struggling with heart problems in recent years.
