Danish artist presents museum with a blank ‘work of art’, but plan fails

Art is often more than what the eye sees, and this becomes all too clear in the story of the Danish Jens Haaning. The artist received 66,000 euros from a museum in Aalborg with the aim of creating two works of art, but in the end he submitted blank canvases. Now he is involved in a lawsuit in which he is obliged to pay back the amount. The artwork was entitled ‘Take the Money and Run’, but that plan failed.
