The crew of the Finnish national football team has experienced significant changes in Murcia’s training matches.

Richard Jensen The Owls debut moved into the future as he was diagnosed with a broken nose at a Spanish hospital. The defender had been hit hard in the 3–3 draw against Jong PSV this weekend, but had nevertheless traveled to the national team camp.

Head coach Markku Kanerva noted, however, that it is better for a player from Porvoo to return home to improve his nose.

Lassi Lappalainen, Robert Taylor and Onni Valakari themselves requested exemption from national team duties for various reasons. Kanerva completed the team HJK Santeri Hostika and Riga FC Mikael Soisalo.

– Good expectations. After a break of a few months, I got involved in national team events, defender Daniel O’Shaughnessy started a remote information session.

Finland’s goal has already been postponed to the German European Championships, which are waiting three years away. Of course, before that, we have to cut through another sky of the League of Nations.

– The conditions are right, and teams of the same level as in the League of Nations will be received. The matches will certainly prepare us well, with the Karlsruhe topper knocking out Iceland (Saturday at 6pm) and Slovakia (Tuesday at 7pm).

Powerful topper

The World Cup qualifier ended in disappointment, and immediately after that came the news Paulus Arajuuren and Joona Toivion decision to terminate. The duo, who have been lynching for a long time, will focus only on club team games.

For Kanerva, the situation is delicious. In addition to O’Shaughnessy, at least they are looking for a top spot Robert Ivanov, Väisänen brothers Sauli and Leo and in Spain, likely to make their national team debut Miro Tenho.

– A couple of hard factors were left out. They left a big gap, but yes there are still good guys here, O’Shaughnessy continued.

– The competitive situation is still tough. You have to give more screens in each game if you want to be true to the opening.

The 27-year-old O’Shaughnessy is surprisingly one of Finland’s most experienced central defenders. Now he is responsible for ensuring that the newcomers also adapt well to the Owl’s Nest.

– Good team spirit will continue. I was really well received at first and now I am trying to pass on the same.

O’Shaughnessy, who plays in the German Second Bundesliga, has also succeeded in scoring at the club level.

– If the place is to be pulled, I will probably try in the Owls. Hopefully going to the finish line and not past as usual.
