Daniel Ek stops as CEO of Spotify after controversy around controversial defense investments

Founder Daniel Ek will stop in January as CEO of music streaming service Spotify. The Swede is succeeded by two co-CEOs, the company reports. EK becomes chairman of the board of directors. He has been under fire for a while because he is investing in a German company that uses artificial intelligence for military applications.
