Dancing with the Stars 2023, first episode: jury, cast and guests

The competing couples: competitors and dancers

At the press conference, Milly Carlucci defined the program as “a cross-section of our society”. Andrea Antonello, principal dancer for a night

Also in this edition the Dancer for a night. It is a performance entrusted to a character usually from the world of entertainment or sport. The judges vote and the final score ends up in the treasure chestwhich is assigned by Alberto Matano to one of the competing couples at the end of each episode.

«Every year we try to open a discussion on something that affects people’s lives», Carlucci said. «This year we will do it through Dancers for a night. We want to shine a light on different themes”, he explains. The first will be Andrea Antonello, «with which we will address the topic of autism».
