After three victories in a row, the ice hockey team from Bremerhaven had to take a damper against the Cologne sharks. It set a double pack early.

It took less than three minutes when Kreister Gudlevskis had to grab behind for the first time. The goalkeeper of the Fischtown Pinguins was powerless against the attack of the Cologne Haie and Maximilian Kammerer’s shot. However, the early 0-1 deficit should not stay for the ice hockey team from Bremerhaven-in the 8th minute Cologne Patrick Russell scored the 2-0 lead.

After three canteen victories in a row against Ingolstadt, Iserlohn and Master Berlin, in which the Penguins met five times each, the sharks did not go smoothly at all. Valtteri Kemiläinen increased to 3: 0 in the 26th minute, the game seemed to have run.

In the 46th minute, the Bremerhaveners contacted Fabian Herrmann to 1: 3 with the connection goal – but it was not enough to turn the game. In the power play, the sharks scored the 4: 1 by Oliwer Kaski in the 59th minute.

We never really came into play. Overall, that was simply too little.
