The residents of Damasstraat in The Hague cannot wait until the World Cup football starts on June 11. Father Mike Toet (37) and son Delano (17) started decorating the entire street at the beginning of May, with the help of the neighbors. A sea of ​​flags now colors the entire block orange. Decorating is also ‘top sport’, says Delano. “Of course we also see it as a bit of a competition. We definitely want to be the most beautiful Oranjestraat.”
