Damage from severe cyclone Ilsa in Australia seems to be not too bad

The severe tropical cyclone that hit western Australia today appears to have avoided large populated areas. Ilsa made landfall as a Category 5 hurricane near the sparsely populated town of Pardoo. According to the Australian meteorological institute, record wind speeds of an average of 218 kilometers per hour were measured, with peaks of 288 kilometers per hour.
