First NBA superstar Luka Dončić had to cope with an injury in the Christmas game, now also the personal shock: the basketball player was broken into.
There was a break-in at the home of Luka Dončić, the Slovenian star of the Dallas Mavericks. His coach Jason Kidd said he spoke to the basketball player after the incident. “He’s fine. Luckily no one was hurt,” Kidd said before the Mavericks’ 122-126 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers.
According to Dončić’s agent, no one was in the house at the time of the break-in. According to media reports, the incident occurred on Friday evening. The “Dallas Morning News” reported, citing police, that jewelry worth about $30,000 (around 28,700 euros) was stolen.
The 25-year-old is currently out with a calf injury sustained in the Christmas game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He will probably be absent from the team for around a month.
