“It is incredibly special to capture this life-changing moment,” says 44-year-old Cynthia van Stiphout from Hoorn.
Missed memory
She started with birth photography after she had a traumatic experience with the birth of her first child. “I missed three hours of the process and couldn’t complete it anymore. There were no photos, so I missed a memory forever,” Cynthia says.
With her second child she had photos taken by a professional photographer. “When I looked at those photos later, I thought: everyone who wants this deserves this. Maybe it’s not for everyone, but it’s so nice to have it professionally captured.”
