A cyclist was seriously injured this afternoon in a collision on Weerdingerstraat in Emmen. The cyclist was scooped by a car and fell through the windshield. The window was badly damaged by the blow.
The accident happened at a cross with traffic lights. The police have partly closed the intersection and investigate the circumstances of the accident. The victim was rushed to the hospital.
