A cyclist was hit by a taxi in the center of Assen last night. That happened around half past two at the intersection of Weiersstraat and Het Kanaal. The victim was taken to hospital after treatment on the street.
The windshield of the taxi needs to be replaced because of the damage. It is still unclear how the vehicle collided with the cyclist. The police will investigate the matter further.
