Cycling, the Jumbo closes strongly at the Tour of Guangxi

The 2023 season ended with the last stage of the Chinese race: Viviani sixth in the sprint in Guilin

The fourth edition of the Tour of Guangxi, in China, ends in the name of Jumbo-Visma: in the last sprint, in fact, 168 km with start and finish in Guilin, success of the Dutchman Olav Kooij on his 22nd birthday, in front to the Colombian Molano and Ethan Hayter, with Elia Viviani sixth and first of the Italians (he had won the first fraction, while the second was won by Jonathan Milan). In the general classification, final victory for the other Dutchman Milan Vader with 6″ over the Frenchman Rochas and 11″ over Ethan Hayter. First of our Aleotti, at 29”. Jumbo-Visma thus closes with 69 successes in the year in which it signed all three grand tours: it is the team that has won the most, 12 more goals than Tadej Pogacar’s Uae-Emirates which however was crowned first team at the world by UCI ranking.
