Cycling star Lipowitz is already in such strong form

Florian Lipowitz set a first big exclamation mark in the cycling year of 2026 with third place in the top-class Tour of Catalonia. The big highlight of the season is of course the Tour de France again this year.

He knows how to get to the top. Florian Lipowicz Not only an excellent mountain rider, he is increasingly rising into the circle of the best cyclists on the planet.
What he has achieved so far this year is of course great, i.e. third in Catalonia in the overall ranking. This has a small significance, especially given the severity of the tour. Florian is still young and I think Lupo is a fighter and wants to develop further.
Lipowicz comes third in the Tour of Catalonia. Wins the team’s internal duel against the multiple cycling world champion Remko. Mention Poul. With this performance he is raising hopes of the first German victory in the Tour de France since Jan Ullrich in 1997.
The competition with Vinegard and, above all, Pugachev is of course huge. And at some point it will just be that way. Then Pookie doesn’t feel like it anymore, then he somehow threw in the towel and then maybe he’ll be the new number one.
Lipowicz’s sporting planning originally looked different. He wanted to win on skis instead of on wheels. But a torn cruciate ligament buried his biathlon career in the snow. He got on his bike for rehab, and fans and experts are now pinning their hopes on further highlights in his young career.
