Cybercrime magistrate paints an ominous picture of phishing plague: “Even I can’t say today: this will never happen to me”

The figures are staggering: in just two months, 10 million euros in savings were stolen through phishing in the province of Antwerp alone. The methods are becoming increasingly aggressive, from apps that completely take over your mobile phone to the use of ‘deepfake’ technology.
