Cyberbullying, the project by Meta and the Carolina Foundation

Stand he talks a lot about it but, evidently, not yet enough. THE risks of the improper use of digital technology they are a theme still too much ignored by Italian families. From the symptoms of addiction, to the major dangers in terms of mental and physical health, such as cyberbullying, grooming and sexting: parents have no perception of the impact this can have on their children.

To reverse the trend and make families aware of the correct use of digital devices and platforms with children, the paediatricians’ associations ACP extension, FIMP And SIP in collaboration with Meta e Caroline Foundation (born in memory of the first recognized victim of cyberbullying, Carolina Picchio) are launching the project “Delicate connections”.

Cyberbullying & Co. A report on digital health

The initiative starts from a survey conducted by a pool of volunteer pediatricians last year. In light of this survey, a “Digital health report”, which will allow pediatricians to define the parameters of psychophysical development of children, with particular attention to the digital sphere. And there are over 11,000 paediatricians present throughout the national territory who will be provided with moments of training and information.
