Inspire
Customization has already brought companies back from abroad and factories have remained in the area. A social mission with economic return. Oesterbank is the first custom company that now coughs up its own resources to attract a new target group. Paul Gerard, chairman of the non-profit organization Oesterbank Oostende: “These are people with an even greater distance to the labor market and who need extra guidance, in many respects, in language, in motor skills. We still want to give them opportunities where they would otherwise fall by the wayside.”
Strikingly, this also concerns that group that is now being tackled by the government through various measures. The Oesterbank therefore invests 250,000 euros to really activate those people. The custom company wants to inspire the government in this way.
