Three pieces of a domino involving Nottingham, Manchester City and obviously the Nerazzurri: Elliot Anderson at the center of it all
There is a Mister X which can allow Inter to accelerate for Curtis Jones, the key player in the midfield of the future. But it would be better to call him Mister 150 milliongiven that this is the figure that is preparing to move in England. Premise: this is a market domino on the Milan-Nottingham-Manchester triangle, one of those in which the pieces would move in a consequential manner until even the best transfer plans of distant clubs fit together. And the first piece to move, the one that triggers everything, could be Elliot Anderson, 23-year-old midfielder from Nottingham Forest.

The English midfielder, currently involved in Tuchel’s World Cup campaign, is the prized piece of the English transfer market this summer. Nottingham is about to sell him but in England they are talking about an upward auction with monstrous figures. The whole of Manchester is (was) on him but in the end only City remained who saw an offer of 120 million pounds rejected because the valuation is 130 (150 in million euros) and they won’t move from there. In short, now it’s a question of 10 million, a “nonsense” if we think of the mind-boggling total figure. But it looks like we can go to checkers. And also in a rather short time, so much so that it is not excluded that Anderson could also undergo visits with the Citizens in the United States.

But returning to the Inter market, what does all this movement of millions and millions of pounds have to do with the Nerazzurri’s income and expenditure? The Elliot coup at City would first of all free up a space in the midfield of Nottingham Forest, a club that continues to want Davide Frattesi, and would guarantee the club itself much greater liquidity to be able to (among other things) also improve the offer for the outgoing midfielder who in Viale della Liberazione is valued at 30 million. From here, with Frattesi’s exit at this price, Inter would in turn be able to reapply from Liverpool with the 30 million requested for Curtis Jones (the Nerazzurri’s latest offer is 20). At that point the parties would only have to agree on the percentage of future resale of the boy who never left the city of the Beatles, a topic to which Liverpool always remains very sensitive. So, yes, the Inter transfer market can start speaking English again very soon.
