Ajax coach John Heitinga has spoken strongly about the draw in the semi-finals of the KNVB Cup. His team was linked to Feyenoord and will play the match in De Kuip. “I find that interesting and also curious,” he says after the match won against NEC (1-0).
Ajax will visit De Kuip at the beginning of April. For years, no away supporters of either club have been welcome at away games. “It is a shame that the Ajax fans cannot travel along. I think this was the time to see what moments there were. The decisions had actually already been made. I find that strange.”
The other semi-final in the cup is between Spakenburg and PSV. The matches will be played between April 4 and 6. The KNVB will announce the final schedule at a later date.
